On a mission from SAAB (911 brakes)

Hi!
First excuse me for writing in English. My German is not so good even though I have a german girlfriend for more than two years. (Shame on me)

I am on a mission from fellow SAAB owners who want to update their brakes with Porsche 911 gt3 brakes and similar brembo parts. I will travel to Chemnitz for Christmas and would like to bring home a few kits with me and think this is the forum where to ask:
1. where to find these parts near Chemnitz or on the way there (from Rostock).
2. what to pay for them (new parts) without being treated like a stupid "Schwede". ;-D

Anyone fancy to help a lost SAAB owner from Schweden?
Thanks in advance
//Per

edit: I will maybe travel to Sachs in Schweinfurt for some other parts, so any dealerships around there is also of interest.

On your way to Chemnitz, you will pass Berlin, which is Germanys capital and quite a big city. Anything is available, there.

In case, that you order the parts in advance, there is a repair-shop, where you could get them: lundtauto. Tel.: +49-30-815 50 22, fax.: +49-30-815 50 66

They are located near to the highway and they do not belong to the Porsche dealers organisation. That means, they usually give fair prices.

I am not a relativ of Mr. Lundt or his advertisement manager, i am just a customer and a friend... :D

For daily usage, i own a Saab 9-3 convertible. It has quite good brakes.

What's the reason for your fellows to change ? And: do Porsche brakes fit into Saabs ??

Thomas

oh, it is not for my own SAAB 9000 AERO which indeed has about 280PS and poor brakes. No, this is for the lads who does some serious tuning with SAAB 9-5 and 9-3 for track day racing and some streetracing as well. We are talking 500+PS in some cars here!
And no, the brakes do not fit right on, but it does not take too much to make them fit I am told. At least it seems to be the best replacements as they are large and "all weather" which is important in Sweden!

Thank you for your ideas!

Per

Sorry for coming back, but I did not get very good reply service from the shops mentioned in the previous answers. Do anyone have more ideas where to buy the parts below .

Brakes from GT3, GT2, and Boxter S.
Discs from Golf R32, Audi s4, and RS4. Shame on me for asking the latter on this forum, but I got good and friendly replies lastt ime, so I try again!

Best regards

@Per
Check this Company outFVD, thei are quite far in the south but I am sure they do also deliver to Scandinavia and can be of some help.

I have once seen a VW Bus in their garage with GT2 Breaks and a 420 bhp turbo engine which had number plates from Kuwait :D

Greetings from Switzerland!

Balazs
