73er T mit videos
 

Hmmmm, das Auto ist... sagen wir mal EXTREM Amerikanisch... mit diversen echt krassen Stilbrüchen, zumindest mit mitteleuropäischen Augen betrachtet.

Aber trotz alledem ein sicher geil zu fahrendes Auto.

stimmt schon, mir ist der auch zu aufgestrapst, 16-zoll etc.. die us-scheinwerfer gefallen auch gar nicht.

Ich bin glücklich, daß ich diesen Aufstellungsort fand. Das 1973 911T wurde bei Laguna Seca letztes Jahr ruiniert. Aber ich baute das Auto auf einem Körper 1972 um. Jetzt ähnelt er einem RSR 2.8. Sind hier einige Abbildungen:

Das Auto nicht befolgt ausschließlich nichts, anders als meine Idee des Geistes der 911. Mein Deutsch ist schrecklich, weil ich es nicht spreche. Ich benutze einen Übersetzer, um den Deutschen zu bilden.

Auch ist hier ein neuer Zeitschrift Artikel über mein Auto, das auf englisch ist.



Ich bin an allen möglichen Meinungen interessiert, die Sie über das Auto haben konnten.

I think for myself its a trace to expand althought I`m not a convince orginal proponent but my favorits are the smallest orginal from -73 with the 73èr Carrera RS as the Highlight of this Types.
My opinion is probably a typical German.

Ich stimme darin überein, daß die schmale Körperart besser schaut. Aber, Raum für breite Räder und Gummireifen zu haben ist für schnellere Schoßzeiten notwendig.

I fully agree with you, it depends on what you wanna do with your car. To use it on the race track you have to modify your car for sure. The way however you upgraded your car looks great (at least from looking the pics and reading the mags article). My 73 1/2 911T is an all original - but I'll give him some slight modifications over the winter.
I know that you guys in California are well known for creating your own style. Porsche isn't really my passion - I'm a VW bug afficionado :D and in this scene the "CalLook" becomes more and more important to european Bug-drivers.
What I'm trying to say is... even if some of us (including myself, I prefer it genuine) are still having "problems" by the way you upgraded your car - it's possibly just a matter of time of having some kind of "CalLook" within the Porsche scene as well.

Danke, Marcel. Ich verstehe, daß viele Leute die Blicke der frühen Autos bevorzugen, wie sie ursprünglich produziert wurden. Wenn ich überhaupt zweite 911 erhalte, verwende ich ihn nur auf der Straße, und sie schaut mehr so. Ich liebe die einfachen Linien der frühen 911.

Aber, da Sie, für die Rennsport, die Anforderungen sagen, seien Sie unterschiedlich. Das Addieren der breiteren Räder und der konkurrenzfähigen Frühlinge bildete das Auto viel schneller, gleichmäßig mit der gleichen Maschine in ihm. Ich genieße alle Meinungen und schätze Hörfähigkeit, welche Leute mögen und auch, was sie ablehnen.

Und wieder, danke für das Beachten einen Amerikaner mit seinen sehr schlechten Übersetzung Fähigkeiten.

Auch alle Feuer sind jetzt fast unter Steuerung. Ich werde bis zur Wüste der großen Höhe das folgende Wochenende fahren, zum zu laufen, und ich nehme keine Probleme an allen vorweg.

All right, no more machine translation. Until Babelfish can distinguish a piece of coiled steel from the season after winter, I'll just have to fumble along in English, and assume that most Europeans are multilingual.

The car has many components that are not correct to the period, and it would raise a lot of eyebrows at a concours or car show. But it does assemble components from all of the air-cooled 911's in a way that -- I hope -- retains some design integrity. It's no museum piece, but it does go fast around the track. :cool:

Before I crashed it at Laguna Seca, it had a more mild look, similar to the Carrera RS, but -- again -- with many departures from the original. (Click for a larger version.)

the auto-translation was wonderful - but I think it's much better without that Babelfish mutilation ;)

The present look of your car reminds me the racecars of that great decade - when the 911 was almost invincible.
